RPF SI Exam 2018 Postponed: Railway Protection Force (RPF) has notified on the official website - si1.rpfonlinereg.org - about new exam dates for Sub Inspector Recruitment exam which was scheduled to be held on 9^th January 2019 i.e. today has been postponed until further notification. As per a notification hosted on the official website of RPF Sub Inspector Recruitment 2018, candidates will be notified about the revised examination dates via SMS as well as the revised scheduled will be hosted on the site. ‘Due to representations by candidates, the online exam scheduled on January 9th has been postponed. The revised schedule will be intimated soon in official website and SMS’ read the notification. RPF SI Exam 2018 scheduled from 5^th to 10^th January 2019 in Kerala have also been deferred due to heavy unrest in the state. ‘Due to the unrest in Kerala the Exams scheduled from 5th Jan to 10th Jan is postponed in Kerala state,’ the notification stated further. The Railway Protection Force aims to fill 1120 vacancies (819 Male and 301 Female) across the country for the post of Sub Inspector via this direct recruitment drive. The Phase 2 and Phase 3 Computer Based Tests (CBTs) for RPF SI Group A and Group B recruitment exam were scheduled to be held from 5^th & 6^th January 2019 and  9^th to 13^th January 2019, respectively. Candidates who qualify the CBT will be eligible to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Measurement Test (PMT) followed by Document Verification (DV). The finally selected candidates will be placed in Level 6 of 7th CPC Pay matrix with initial pay of Rs 35,400/- and Allowances.
