UP Board Result 2024 Released On upresults.nic.in; Girls Outshine Boys With Higher Passing Percentage

UP Board Result 2024: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, UPMSP has announced the UP Board Result 2024 for classes 10th and 12th on Saturday on the official website at upmsp.edu.in. Chairman of the UP Board congratulated students for their remarkable performance in the UP board class 10th and 12th examinations. Alongside the announcement of the pass percentage, the board has also announced the names of the top performers in both High School and Intermediate Examinations.
Result of more than 55 lakh students has been released from UP Board Headquarters in Prayagraj by UP Board Director Dr Mahendra Dev and Secretary Dibya Kant Shukla. As many as 89.55% of the candidates passed the Class 10 exams, while 82.60% of students cleared the Class 12 exams.
Once again this year, girls outshone boys in the Class 10 final examination. The pass percentage for girls is 93.40%, while that for boys is 86.05%. In 2023, girls achieved a pass percentage of 93.34%, while boys attained 86.64%.
In the Class 12 results, too, girls performed better than boys, with 88.42% of the girls clearing the exams. The figure for the same for boys is 77.78%.

UP Board Result 2024: Passing Criteria
According to the UP board guidelines, students are required to score 33% marks in each subject. If any student fails to meet the passing criteria and fails in one or two subjects, they will have to appear in the UP board compartmental exams 2024, while students failing in more than two subjects will have to repeat the year. Students unsatisfied with their scores will be given an opportunity to opt for the re-evaluation process.

- A2: 81-90 Marks
- B1: 71-80 Marks
- B2: 61-70 Marks
- C1: 51-60 Marks

- E1: 21- 32 Marks
- E2: Less than 21
