UGC NET 2023 Result By July 26 Or 27: UGC Chairman
UGC NET Result 2023 will be made available for the candidates on the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
UGC NET 2023 Result Date: The National Testing Agency will release the results for the UGC NET (National Eligibility Test) examinations 2023 by July 26 or July 27, UGC Chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar said. “NTA aims to announce the results by 26 or 27 July. Will update if there is any change,” UGC Chairman said in a tweet. Once declared, candidates will be able to check their results from the official website of UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Candidates need to log in with the application number and date of birth to view the result.

The UGC NET 2023 examinations were conducted in two phases by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Phase I took place from June 13 to June 17, while Phase II was held from June 19 to June 22, 2023. A total of 6,39,069 candidates participated in these examinations.

Once declared, candidates can check their results by following simple steps given below:
Step 1: Visit the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the UGC NET Result 2023 link on the homepage.
Step 3: Enter your application number and date of birth.
Step 4: Your result will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Check and download it.
You can also take a printout for future reference.
Notably, the University Grants Commission (UGC) on July 5 announced that passing the National Eligibility Test (NET)/State Eligibility Test (SET)/State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) will be made mandatory as the minimum requirement for direct hiring to the position of assistant professor in all higher education institutions.

"NET/SET/SLET shall be the minimum criteria for the direct recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor for all Higher Education Institutions," the UGC said in an official statement.
