TN 10th Result 2025: Sivagangai Tops District Rankings, 4,917 Schools Achieve 100% Pass Rate

10th Result District Wise: Tamil Nadu's Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi declared the results of the Class 10 (SSLC) board examinations today, revealing a strong performance from students across the state. Out of 8,71,239 students who appeared for the exams, a commendable 93.80% have successfully passed.

"This reflects the efforts and guidance provided by our Chief Minister M K Stalin. He is our headmaster," Tamil Nadu School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi said, as per a report on PTI.

He expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister and the teaching community for the improved pass percentage, adding that it was driven by increased awareness of state government schemes promoting school and higher education.

Class 10 Results

Female students outshone their male counterparts with a pass percentage of 95.88%, compared to 91.74% among boys. In absolute numbers, 4,105 more girls cleared the exams than boys.

A total of 15,652 students were absent during the examination period.

This year, students from 12,485 schools participated in the public exams — including 7,555 Higher Secondary Schools and 4,930 High Schools. Among these institutions, 4,917 schools recorded a perfect 100% pass rate. Additionally, 1,867 institutions also achieved complete success among their students.

These districts not only led in overall performance but also topped the charts among government school students, with Sivagangai recording a stellar 97.49% pass rate.
