The overall pass percentage for TN SSLC this year stands at 91.55%, marking a slight increase from the previous year's 91.39%. The board conducted the class 10th examinations from March 26 to April 8, 2024. To pass the class 10th examinations, students must achieve a minimum of 35 marks out of 100. In subjects with practical components, students must secure at least 20 out of 75 marks in theory and 15 out of 25 marks in the practical examination. Additionally, marks obtained in the optional language are excluded from the final Tamil Nadu 10th result. Students failing to meet this passing criteria and fail in one or two subjects will have to appear for the compartment exam. However, students failing in more than two subjects will have to repeat the entire year.
