SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2024 Awaited On ssc.gov.in, Official Date Yet To Be Announced

SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2024 is expected to be released soon on the official website of the commission at ssc.gov.in.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is expected to announce the SSC CGL Tier 1 results soon for the exams conducted in September. While the exact result date has not yet been confirmed, candidates can check their results on the official website at ssc.gov.in, using their roll number, date of birth, and password once released.  

The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam took place from September 9 to 26, 2024, with provisional answer keys published on October 4. Candidates were allowed to raise objections to the tentative answer keys until October 8.  

The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam comprises multiple-choice questions across four sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. Each section has 25 questions, with each correct answer earning 2 marks, for a total of 200 marks.

As per the SSC CGL 2024 cut-off criteria, candidates need a minimum score of 30% to qualify in the open category, 25% for OBC and EWS categories, and 20% for all other reserved categories.  

SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2024: Steps to Download

Follow these steps to check and download your SSC CGL Tier 1 results once they are announced:

Step 1: Visit the official SSC website: ssc.gov.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link for "SSC CGL Tier 1 Results 2024."

Step 3: Enter your login credentials, including your roll number and password, in the dialog box that appears.

Step 4: View your result and download it for future reference.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the SSC CGL exam to recruit candidates for various positions across government departments, ministries, and organizations in India. It is a national-level examination for filling Group B and Group C posts. Assistant Section Officer: Central Secretariat Service, Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of External Affairs, AFHQ, Group “B”

Assistant (Other Ministries/Departments/Organizations): Group “B”

Inspector of Income Tax: CBDT, Group “C”

Inspector (Central Excise): CBIC, Group “B”

Assistant Enforcement Officer: Directorate of Enforcement, Department of Revenue, Group “B”

Sub Inspector: Central Bureau of Investigation, Group “B”

Inspector: Central Bureau of Narcotics, Group “B”

Junior Statistical Officer: Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation, Group “B”

Statistical Investigator Grade-II: Registrar General of India, Group “B”

Auditor: Offices under C&AG, CGDA, Group “C”

Accountant/Junior Accountant: Other Ministries/Departments, Group “C”

Senior Secretariat Assistant/Upper Division Clerks: Central Government Offices/Ministries (excluding CSCS cadres), Group “C”
