SSC CGL Result 2024: Tier 1 Results Awaited On ssc.gov.in, Know How To Check

SSC CGL Result 2024 for the tier 1 exam will be released on the official website at ssc.gov.in.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is expected to release the SSC CGL Result 2024 soon. Candidates who took the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier-I Examination 2024 can check their results on the official website, ssc.gov.in. Candidates can log in using their Registration Number and Password to download the scorecard. The Tier-I exam was conducted nationwide from September 9 to 26, 2024, across various centers.

This objective-type test included multiple-choice questions covering General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension, with 25 questions per section and a maximum score of 50. Except for English Comprehension, questions were available in both English and Hindi.

The provisional answer key was released on October 3, 2024, with an objection window that closed on October 6. Minimum qualifying scores are set at 30% for unreserved candidates, 25% for OBC and EWS candidates, and 20% for all other categories. Through this recruitment drive, SSC will fill 17,727 Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ positions in various Ministries, Departments, Organisations of the Government of India, as well as in Constitutional, Statutory Bodies, and Tribunals.

Candidates can check their results by following the below steps: 

Step 1: Visit the official website of SSC at ssc.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the "Results" tab.

Step 3: Select the SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2024 link.

Step 4: Enter your credentials (registration number and password).

Step 5: View and download your result.

Step 6: Take a printout of the result for future reference.

There shall be no provision for re-evaluation/ re-checking of the scores of any stage/ Tier(s) of the examination.

Unreserved category candidates need 30% marks to pass the CGL Tier 1 exam, while OBC and EWS candidates require 25%. For all other categories, the passing marks are set at 20%.
