The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the results for JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Paper 1 (BE/BTech) on Thursday, April 17, according to Economic Times. However, there is no official notification on the NTA website or X handle.

Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their scores and download the final answer key on the official website — https://jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Massive Turnout Across India And Abroad

This year's Session 2 Paper 1 exam was held on April 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8 at 531 centres spread across 285 cities in India, along with 15 international locations. Paper 2 — meant for students eyeing BArch and BPlan programmes — took place on April 9.

The NTA had released the provisional answer key for Paper 1 on April 11. Students were given the opportunity to raise objections until April 13. After a thorough review process, the final answer key and results are now being prepared for release.

Only the top 2.5 lakh candidates from the combined JEE Main merit list will be eligible to appear for the prestigious JEE Advanced, the gateway to the IITs.

Answer Key Concerns Addressed

Some candidates had expressed concerns about discrepancies in the provisional answer keys. Responding to these objections, the National Testing Agency (NTA) stressed that it follows a strict and transparent review process. Every challenge submitted was carefully evaluated, and the final answer key reflects those corrections where valid.
