J&K Candidates Crack UPSC CSE 2022: Waseem Bhat From Anantnag Gets 7th Rank, Prasanjeet Kour From Poonch 11th

In the UPSC CSE Toppers List 2022, Waseem Ahmad Bhat has secured AIR 7, while Prasanjeet Kour of Poonch has bagged AIR 11.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the UPSC CSE (Civil Services Examination) 2022. In the UPSC CSE Final Result 2022, the commission has shortlisted a total of 933 candidates. Candidates who appeared for the final interview round of the UPSC CSE 2022 can check the result on the official UPSC website - upsc.gov.in. In the UPSC CSE Final Result 2022, the commission has shortlisted as many as 933 candidates including 613 Men and 320 Women candidates. 

While Ishita Kishore of Uttar Pradesh has topped the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2022, the first four All India Ranks in the CSE Final Result 2022 have been bagged by women. The UPSC CSE Top 10 Rank List 2022 includes a total of 6 women and 4 male candidates. Moreover, the Top 25 UPSC CSE 2022 Rank Holders includes 14 women and 11 men. 

Candidates from the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir have also shined bright in the list of UPSC CSE 2022 Toppers. Waseem Ahmad Bhat of Anantnag who secured AIR 225 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2020 has secured AIR 7 in the UPSC CSE Final Result 2022. Waseem is presently posted in Mumbai, and holds a B.Tech degree from the National Institute of Technology, Srinagar.

Furthermore, Prasanjeet Kour of Poonch has secured an All India Rank of 11 in the CSE 2022 Final Results. Prasanjeet holds a B.Sc degree from the University of Jammu. She also has a M.Sc degree to her name. Importantly though, Prasanjeet cleared the prestigious UPSC CSE Examination with AIR 11 in her very first attempt. 

Notably, the Union Public Service Commission conducted the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2022 in three stages. The UPSC CSE Prelims Exam was held on June 5, and a total of 5,73,735 candidates appeared for the preliminary examination. Following the preliminary examination, the UPSC conducted the UPSC CSE Mains Examination in September 2022 in which 13,090 candidates appeared for. 

The final interview round of the selection was held on May 18, 2023. A total of 2,529 shortlisted candidates were called for the interview round. In the UPSC CSE Final Result 2023, the commission has shortlisted a total of 933 candidates including 613 Men and 320 Women candidates.
