The Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education, HPBOSE is set to release the class 10th results today, May 7, 2024. More than 90,000 students are eagerly waiting for the announcement of the result. According to the information, the results will be released during a press conference at 10 am, following which the result link will be activated on the board’s official website. 

Last year, the board conducted the HPBOSE 10th examinations from March 11 to March 31, 2024. Students can check their HP board 10th results on the official website of HPBOSE by entering their login credentials such as roll number and date of birth (DOB) mentioned on the admit card/hall ticket. 

HP Board 10th Result 2024: Steps To Check Via SMS

Students can follow the below-given steps to check the results via SMS:

Step 1: Open the SMS application on your mobile phone.

Step 2: Then, type H10 Roll Number.

Step 3: Send the SMS to 56263.

HP Board 10th Result 2024: Passing Criteria 

In Himachal Pradesh Board, each subject contains a total of 100 marks. To pass the HP board 10th examination, students are required to score a minimum of 33% marks in each subject and an aggregate of 33%. Students failing to meet this passing criteria will have to appear for the compartmental exams. However, students failing in more than two subjects will have to repeat the entire year.

HP Board 10th Result 2024: Compartment Exams

Following the announcement of the board results, the date of the Himachal Pradesh class 10th board compartment exams will be announced. Students who have appeared for the HPBOSE 10th exams and failed in one or two subjects will be allowed to appear for the compartmental exams.
