A fake notice about the declaration of the Central Board of Secondary Education class 10th result 2024 has been going viral on social media. It falsely claims that the results will be announced today, May 1, 2024. However, there is no official announcement regarding the declaration of the result yet. Over 20 lakh students who participated in the CBSE class 10th examination are eagerly waiting for the announcement of the result. The fake notice includes details such as the result date, passing criteria and information on collecting the original mark sheets, along with a fake signature of the CBSE exam controller, Sanyam Bharadwaj.
CBSE PRO Rama Sharma said that the viral notice is fake. She further said that the official date for the declaration of the result hasn’t been announced yet. CBSE Secretary Himanshu Gupta informed that the CBSE class 10th and 12th results for 2024 will be declared in May. Last year, the CBSE class 10th and 12th results were announced on May 12, 2024. Students are advised to patiently wait for the announcement of the result and avoid spreading unverified information.
Currently, the CBSE class 10th evaluation process is underway, and the results can be expected shortly. Once released, students can download their results from the board’s official website at cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.nic.in.
CBSE Class 10th Result 2024: Passing Criteria
To clear the CBSE class 10th examination, students are required to score a minimum of 33% marks in all subjects, including both internal assessments and board examinations. Students must score 33% marks individually in 5 subjects. This means that even if the student is scoring really well but does not get 33% marks in one or two subjects will have to appear for the compartment exams.
