Background

CBSE 10th, 12th Result 2023: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the class 12 result 2023. CBSE Results for 12 is available on various official websites, including results.cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in, and digilocker.gov.in. In addition to the online options, students can also access their results through the UMANG app, DigiLocker app, SMS service, IVR, and Pariksha Sangam.

“Heartily congratulate my young friends who have cleared the #CBSE Class XII examinations. It is a moment to rejoice the success and cherish the fruits of hard work that you put all year round. Best wishes for a happy and bright future,” Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan tweeted.

CBSE has not released any topper list to avoid unhealthy competition among students. However, students who achieve the top 0.1 percent of scores in different subjects will receive a merit certificate, similar to last year. The board has taken this step to alleviate the pressure and anxiety on students and discourage the unhealthy competition culture.

The CBSE Class 10 and 12 board exams started on February 14 this year, and the examinations for Class 10 and 12 concluded on March 21 and April 5, respectively. A total of 38,83,710 students were eligible to take the exams this year, with 21,86,940 students from Class 10 and 16,96,770 students from Class 12.
