CBSE 12th Result 2022: Girls Outshine Boys With 94.54% Pass Percentage, Check State-Wise List

CBSE 12th Result 2022: While marking the students, the board has given 30 per cent weightage to term 1 exams, and 70 per cent weightage to the second term.

CBSE 12th Result 2022: Around 92.71 per cent of students have cleared the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12 board examination in 2022. Thiruvananthapuram has secured the highest passing percentage this year at 98.83 per cent followed by Bengaluru (98.16%),  Chennai (97.79%), Delhi (East) (96.29%), Delhi (West) (96.29%), Ajmer (96.01%), Chandigarh (95.98%), Panchkula (94.08) and others.

Girls have outperformed boys by 3.29 per cent in CBSE 12th 2022 board exams. Around 92.71 per cent of students have passed this year’s examination, according to officials, reported news agency PTI. The passing percentage of boys stands at 91.25 per cent while girls have secured a passing percentage of 94.25 per cent. Transgenders secured a passing percentage of 83.33 per cent in CBSE 12th Result 2022. 

Over 33,000 students score above 95 per cent, 1.34 lakh above 90 per cent, according to CBSE. While marking the students, the board has given 30 per cent weightage to term 1 exams, and 70 per cent weightage to the second term, confirm officials.

The overall passing percentage in 2021 was much higher at 99.37 per cent compared to CBSE 12th Result 2022. 

CBSE Class 12 Result 2022: Merit & Toppers List

It has been clarified by the CBSE officials that the topper list will not be released this year nor will there be a merit list declaration by CBSE. Only 0.1 per cent of the merit certificates will be given to those students who have secured the highest marks.

Students need to visit CBSE's official website cbseresults.nic.in/. Students can also check CBSE Results online on DigiLocker by logging into their accounts on the application. 

The online links have been activated on CBSE's official website and the CBSE 12th Result 2022 mark sheet is also available on Digilocker.

CBSE 12th Result 2022: Check CBSE Result On DigiLocker

  • Go to digilocker.gov.in
  • On the home page, click on the login
  • Log in using your CBSE Roll Number as User Name and PIN as password (Remember, PIN has been shared by CBSE with the schools)
  • Your Class 12 Mark Sheet would be available on the screen
  • Download the Digital Marks Sheet for CBSE Class 12 Results

Notably, CBSE 12th Results have been uploaded on Pariksha Sangam as well.

About 16 lakh students are reported to have appeared for the CBSE Class 12 Term 1 and Term 2 examinations.

The examinations were conducted in offline mode for Term 2 as well from April 26, 2022, to June 15, 2022. The results have now been released.

As per reports, CBSE Class 10th Results are expected to be released by 2 pm today.
