BSEB 12th Result 2024 Declared: What If A Student Fails In One Or Two Subjects?

Students who appeared for the Bihar Board Intermediate Exams 2024 can now check their results on the official website -

Attention candidates! The Bihar School Examinations Board (BSEB) has released the Bihar Board 12th Results 2024. Following the result announcement, the results are now hosted on the official website - biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in. Candidates may note that they will be able to download the e-copies of their results from the official website using their credentials like roll number and roll code. However, they will be required to collect the hard copies of their results from their respective schools, at a later date. 

Bihar Board 12th Exams 2024: Live Updates

After downloading the BSEB 12th e-result copies, candidates are advised to duly check all the details mentioned on their results. Those unhappy with their marks can also request a re-evaluation of their result by paying a certain fee. Any change in the mark tally of such candidates shall be reflected in their final marksheets. 

Notably, the BSEB 12th Board Exams 2024 were conducted from February 1 to February 12, and around 13,04,352 students appeared for the BSEB class 12 examinations this year. Following the conduct of exams, the BSEB also released the final answer key of the exams on March 2, and invited objections against the same till March 5, 2024. 

Candidates may note that to pass in the Bihar Board 12th Exams 2024, they will be required to score a minimum aggregate of 30% across all subjects. However, those candidates who fail to score the minimum marks will also be provided with another opportunity to appear and clear their exams under the ‘Compartmental Exams’ category. The compartment exams serve as a chance for students to focus on the specific subjects they didn't pass initially.

Bihar Board Inter Result 2024: Passing Criteria

- Candidates must secure a minimum 30% marks in each subject.

- Candidates must score at least 30% marks in aggregate across all subjects.

- First division will be granted to those students who have secured 300 or more marks in total.

- Second division will be granted to those students who have secured between 225 and 300 marks.

- Candidates obtaining marks between 150 and 225 will be granted third division.
