PM Modi Addresses UP Rozgar Mela, Hails UP Govt’s Efforts Towards Employment, And Security

Addressing the UP Rozgar Mela via a video message, PM Modi lauded the UP government for its orientation towards law and order, development, security and employment.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Uttar Pradesh Rozgar mela today, February 26, 2023, through a video message. In his address, the Prime Minister hailed the efforts of BJP-ruled states to conduct rozgar melas and offering jobs to thousands of youth across the country. 

The Uttar Pradesh government organized the rozgar mela today for the direct recruitment of Sub Inspectors in UP Police and equivalent posts in Nagrik Police, Platoon Commanders and Fire Department Second Officers.

“For the last several months, employment fairs are being held in one or the other BJP-ruled states. These talented youth are helping to bring new ideas and efficiency in the government system,” PM Modi said in his address. 

“This job fair is further strengthening the sense of security in the state with the gift of happiness for 9000 families. With the new recruits, UP Police will be more empowered & better. Best wishes to the youth who got appointment letters today,” he further added.

In his address, the Prime Minister further underlined that with over 1.5 lakh appointments in the U.P Police since 2017, there has been a significant improvement in the employment and security in the state under the current government. 

PM Modi further said that the state of UP Pradesh has come a long way from its image of mafia rule and poor law and order situation, and is hailed today across the country for its law and order, development orientation, employment, business and investment.

In his address, the Prime Minister also lauded the double-engine government’s reformative push on new airports, dedicated freight corridor, new defence corridor, new mobile manufacturing units, modern waterways, infrastructure, etc., which is ushering in new opportunities. He said that the developmental projects like the construction of roads and the push upon tourism is not only paving way for more jobs, but also new projects. “The combined power of security and employment has given new impetus to the economy of UP,” PM Modi said in his address. 

To the new appointees who were distributed appointment letters in the rozgar mela, PM Modi underlined the challenges and responsibilities that await them, and also motivated them to keep progressing in life.
