NTA UGC NET Result 2018: The candidates who were eagerly waiting for the result, can now access the same from the official website - ntanet.nic.in, after entering the exam registration details of the applicants.
NTA UGC NET Result 2018: National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the result for UGC NET December 2018 exam on the official website - ntanet.nic.in. The exam was held last year from 18-22 December. According to the official press release, a total of 9.56 lakh candidates had registered for this exam while 6.82 lakh appeared for the test. A total number of 44,001 candidates have qualified for eligibility for Assistant Professor, while 3,883 candidates qualified for JRF & eligible for Assistant Professor. The candidates who were eagerly waiting for the result, can now access the same from the official website after entering the exam registration details of the applicants.
The NTA has organised the UGC NET examination for candidates who are seeking Junior Research Fellowship. The qualifing candidates will be appointed as teachers in universities and colleges in India. Announcing the declaration of result, Higher Education Secretary of Government of India R Subrahmanyam took to Twitter and said the UGC NET results have been released in a record time.

Step 2) Click on the link that says, ‘View results – UGC NET December 2018’ Step 3) A new window will open Step 4) Fill in the required details Step 5) Click on Submit Step 6) Download the result for future reference Direct link - NTA UGC NET Result 2018 The examination was conducted in 85 subjects. A total number of 9,56,837 candidates registered for this examination. There were 598 examination centres across the country. A total number of 742 Observers, 295 CityCoordinators and 24 State Coordinators were deputed at these centres to oversee the smooth and fair conduct of examination. This time there was a change in the mode of the examination, Computer Based Exam was introduced first time to reduce the burden of examinees. In order to make the examination system transparent, the Question Paper and recorded responses were displayed for the verification by examinees.
