Masters’ Union Business School’s 2021 Cohort Bag Outstanding Internships Opportunities At McKinsey, Tata IQ & More

The students of this B-school, which offers industry-immersive business education through classes headed by top industry leaders and practitioners, have in its inaugural year found internships at firms like McKinsey, BCG, SoftBank, Tata, BMW and more.

New Delhi: Achieving distinction in the Business School’s very first year, around 65 students of Masters’ Union have bagged internship opportunities in over 40 top reputed firms, including McKinsey, Tata iQ and KPMG, thereby representing the institution’s diversity in terms of academic training, professional experience, age, gender, geographies and even growth aspirations.

The students of this B-school, which offers industry-immersive business education through classes headed by top industry leaders and practitioners, have in its inaugural year found internships at firms like McKinsey, BCG, SoftBank, Tata, BMW and more.

The B-school’s Careers Department in its first ever internship report mentioned top recruiters, including McKinsey, BCG, Tata IQ, PWC and EY, coming for placements.

Besides, the students also cracked private equity and venture capital jobs at Softbank JV, L&T Private Equity, Orios Venture partners and Antler India. Many students have also scored unique Chief of Staff roles at top funded startups like FtCash (500 Start-ups), Simpl (IA Ventures), Park+ (Sequoia) and Aanswr.

Masters’ Union is the first B-school in India to have marquee recruiters like McKinsey, BCG, EY, HDFC, Tata, Softbank, and BMW hire from its inaugural cohort, placing it in the league of older and established institutions like the IIMs and ISB.

“It is due to the quality of the cohort, the tech-focused curriculum, the deep industry immersion, and the practitioner-led classes that our students achieved tremendous placement success, at par with the old IIMs,” said Masters’ Union CEO Rupesh.

In a rather rare occurrence among B-schools, the students have also cracked private equity and venture capital jobs at Softbank JV, L&T Private Equity, Orios Venture partners and Antler India. Many students have also scored unique Chief of Staff roles at top funded startups like FtCash (500 Start-ups), Simpl (IA Ventures), Park+ (Sequoia) and Aanswr.

In Finance, several students cracked oppertunities at BMW Finance, HDFC, ICRA, ICICI, IndusInd and Axis Bank. Speaking of roles in Digital and Marketing, students reserved places in popular companies like bOAt, ITC, Volvo, ABP, Virtusa, and Case Insurance.

Some students also opted for long-term consulting projects with Coke besides Bobble AI were the prominent companies to give placement to the students.

Moreover, eight students of this B-school were also awarded the Masters’ Union Innovation Lab’s equity free seed grant to pursue their own ventures, along with the fellowships in blockchain platforms and data research.
