Maharashtra HSC Result 2019 RELEASED on mahresult.nic.in, 85.88% PASS class 12th exam; Mumbai & Pune register highest first grades

Maharashtra HSC Result 2019: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has declared the Maharashtra Board Class 12th Result 2019 today on its official website – mahresult.nic.in.

Maharashtra HSC Result 2019: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has declared the Maharashtra Board Class 12th Result 2019 today on its official website – mahresult.nic.in. The overall pass percentage has dropped from 88.41% in 2018 to 85.88% in 2019. A total of 14,21,936 students had appeared from the nine divisional boards of Maharashtra, out of which 12,21,159 students have cleared their Class 12th aka HSC exams 2019. A whopping 4,64,047 candidates have passed with first grade while 6,03,119 students got second grade. Mumbai and Pune registered highest number of first graders with 83,588 and 83,327 students getting first grades respectively. As far as repeater’s result is concerned, only 26.55% i.e. 18,031 students out of total 67,901 repeat candidates passed the exams. District-wise, Konkan has registered the highest pass percentage of 93.23%, while Nagpur trailed behind with 82.51%, the lowest in the state. Female students lead their male counterparts by recorded a pass percentage of 90.25% and 82.40% respectively. Though girls outdid boys with a close to 8% gap, however, the passing percentage of both the genders have dropped from 92.36% (girls) and 85.23% (boys) in 2018. Science stream has registered the highest pass percentage with 92.60% exam partakers qualifying their exam, followed by Commerce students registering 88.28% pass percentage. 76.45% students of Arts stream and 78.93% students of HSC Vocational cleared their exams in 2019. The Maharashtra Class 12th Higher Secondary Certificate exams were held from 21st February 2019 to 20th March 2019 this year.
