LIC ADO Recruitment 2019: The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has begun the application process for Apprentice Development Officer (ADO) Recruitment 2019, today, i.e. on 20th May 2019. A total of 8,581 vacancies for the post of Apprentice Development Officer (ADO) are to be filled via this mega recruitment drive by LIC. The application submission link is active on the official website of Life Insurance Corporation of India – licindia.in and interested candidates can apply online till 9th June 2019. Important Dates: Opening date of online application process - 20th May 2019 Closing date of online application process – 9th June 2019 Date of download of call letter for online examination – 29th June 2019 onwards Tentative dates of online examination-Preliminary – 6th and 13th July 2019 Tentative date of online examination-Main – 10th August 2019 Vacancy Details: Central Zonal Office, Bhopal – 525 posts Eastern Zonal Office, Kolkata – 922 posts East Central Zonal Office, Patna – 701 posts Northern Zonal Office, New Delhi – 1,130 posts North Central Zonal Office, Kanpur – 1,042 posts Southern Zonal Office, Chennai – 1,257 posts South Central Zonal Office, Hyderabad – 1,251 posts Western Zonal Office, Mumbai – 1,753 posts Total posts – 8,581 Eligibility Criteria: The eligibility criteria, age limit, experience and other details vary for recruitment to the posts of ADO as per three categories viz. Agent Category, Employee Category and Open Market Category. Step 1 – Visit the official website – licindia.in Step 2 – On the bottom of the home page, click on ‘Careers’ Step 3 – You’ll be redirected to a new page Step 4 – Click on the link which reads, “Recruitment of Apprentice Development Officers 2018-19” Step 5 – On a next page, click on the link which reads, “CLICK HERE FOR APPLY ONLINE” Step 6 – Register yourself first, and then log in using your registration number and password Step 7 – Fill the application form with requisite details, pay the application fee and complete the application process Step 8 – Download the confirmation page and take a printout for further reference Direct link to apply online for LIC ADO Posts 2019 Application Fee: SC/ST candidates need to pay intimation charges of Rs.50/- plus transaction charges Other applicants need to pay application fee cum intimation charges of Rs.600/- plus transaction charges Selection Process: Selection of ADO from Open Market Category will be done on the basis of two phase examination i.e. Phase I (Preliminary)and Phase II (Mains) followed by an Interview and pre-recruitment medical examination. Selection of ADO from Agents & Employee Category will be made on the basis of single phase examination i.e. Mains. Candidates will be shortlisted for interview only on the basis of marks scored in the Main Examination. The final merit list of candidates will be prepared after totaling of marks obtained in Main Examination and Interview. Pay Scale: During the period of apprenticeship, the candidate will be paid a fixed stipend of approximately Rs. 34,503/- per month as per rules of the Corporation (except LIC Employees category candidates). Those candidates who will be appointed as a Probationary Development Officer at a specified headquarter will be entitled to basic pay of Rs. 21,865/- per month (excluding Employee Category candidates) in the scale of 21865-1340(2)-24545- 580(2)-27705- 1610(17)- 55075 and other admissible allowances as per rules.
