KCET 2025: KEA Issues Fresh Guidelines For Document Verification At kea.kar.nic.in — Details

The KCET 2025 examination is scheduled for April 16 and 17, 2025, in an offline pen-and-paper mode. The registration for KCET 2025 began on January 23 and will continue until February 18, 2025.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has issued detailed guidelines for the verification of documents for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2025. Candidates who have applied for KCET 2025 can access the official notice on the KEA website at kea.kar.nic.in. The document verification process is a crucial step for ensuring the eligibility of applicants.

Key Guidelines for Document Verification

Clause Code 'A' Candidates

Applicants who have claimed Clause Code 'A' but have not studied from Class 1 to 10 in Kannada medium, Rural, or Religious/Linguistic Minority reservations, and whose seven-year study record is verified through SATS, will receive a Claim Certificate marked "Successfully Verified." These candidates do not need to visit any college for further verification. This also means that the application has been accepted.

Candidates who have studied for ten years (Class 1 to 10) and claimed Kannada Medium, Rural, Religious, or Linguistic reservations will receive a Claim Certificate marked as either "Claimed Verified," "Claimed Not Verified," or "Not Claimed." These students must visit Principal of their PUC/12th standard college or the nearest Government PU College with the original documents and one set of photocopies for verification.

Candidates With Other Clause Codes

The verification schedule for candidates under Clause Codes 'B', 'C', 'D', 'T', 'J', 'K', 'L', 'M', and 'N' will be published on the KEA website.
Candidates who have entered Clause Codes 'E', 'F', 'G', 'H', and 'O' must verify their academic documents at their PUC/12th standard college. However, documents related to Defence, Ex-Defence, CAPF, and Ex-CAPF categories should be submitted separately at KEA for verification.

KEA will verify caste and caste-income certificate RD numbers online. Applicants should ensure that their certificates are valid and that RD numbers are correctly entered in the application form.

The registration process for KCET 2025 began on January 23 and will continue until February 18, 2025. The KCET 2025 examination is scheduled for April 16 and 17, 2025, in an offline pen-and-paper mode.
