UPUMS Nursing Officer Recruitment 2024: Registrations For 535 Posts Underway, Apply By March 14

The shortlisting of candidates for the UPUMS Nursing Officer Recruitment 2024 shall be done based on an online written examination.

The Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences (UPUMS) has started the registration process for the UPUMS Nursing Officer Recruitment 2024. Interested and eligible candidates who wish to participate in the recruitment can submit their registration cum application forms on the official website - upums.ac.in. Candidates will be able to apply for the UPUMS Nursing Officer Recruitment 2024 till March 14, 2024. 

The application fee for the UPUMS Nursing Officer Recruitment 2024 for General, OBC, and EWS category candidates is Rs 2,360, and Rs 1,460 for SC, ST, candidates. Moreover, to apply for the recruitment, interested candidates must be aged between 18 to 40 years of age. 

Candidates are advised to carefully fill in the online recruitment form since they won’t be allowed to make changes or corrections to their application forms after submission. “(All the applicants are advised to keep a copy of registration slip with them, alongwith, proof of payment for their record. Correction in registration form will not be considered through any mode i.e. Email/Post.),” reads the official information brochure in this regard. 

Notably, the UPUMS is conducting the recruitment drive to fill a total of 535 vacancies for the post of Nursing Officers. The shortlisting of candidates for the re recruitment shall be done based on the performance of  candidates on the online written examination. 

The online examination shall consist of a total of 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs) where 170 questions shall be based on Nursing subjects while 30 questions shall be from General English, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Reasoning & Mathematics. The total marks of the exam shall be 600 and candidates will be allowed a maximum time limit of 3 hours to answer all questions.

UPUMS Nursing Officer Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria 1

  • B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Institute or University recognized by Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council. OR 
  • B.Sc. (Post-Certificate)/Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Institute or University recognized by Indian NursingCouncil/State Nursing Council. 
  • Registered as Nurse & Midwife with State/Indian Nursing Council

Eligibility Criteria 2

  • Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council recognized Institute/Board or Council. 
  • Registered as Nurse & Midwife in State/Indian Nursing Council. 
  • Two Years’ Experience in a minimum 50 bedded Hospital (registered with competent district medical authority) after acquiring the educational qualification.
