The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has yet to confirm the date and time for the announcement of the Constable recruitment exam result. Over 34 lakh candidates eagerly awaiting their results. Once declared, the result will be available for download on the official website at uppbpb.gov.in.
Earlier, UPPRPB officials had indicated that the result might be released by the third week of November, but this deadline has passed, and candidates are anxiously awaiting an update. "We are in the process of assessing OMR sheets, and the written exam result could be released by the third week of November for the second round of the recruitment process, details of which will be shared on the board's website," UPPRPB chairman Rajeev Krishna had said earlier.
A total of 48,17,441 candidates, including 15 lakh women, registered for the UP Police Constable recruitment 2024, with around 34.6 lakh appearing for the written test. The exam was conducted in two phases and multiple shifts on August 23, 24, 25, and August 30, 31. The recruitment drive aims to fill 60,244 vacancies, with 20% reserved for women, translating to 12,049 female vacancies and 48,195 male vacancies.

The final answer key was released on October 30 and remained available until November 9. After reviewing 70 objections raised by candidates, UPPRPB revised the final answer key. A total of 29 questions had more than one correct answer, 25 were incorrect, and answers to 16 questions were modified. For incorrect questions that were dropped, all candidates will receive full marks, while those with multiple correct options will be credited for marking one of them.
The next step for shortlisted candidates will be the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Measurement Test (PMT), and Document Verification (DV). The board will release the cut-off marks and merit list for these rounds along with the written exam result.
