UP Police Constable Re-Exam Date 2024 Announced, Check Schedule Here

The UP Police Constable recruitment re-exam will be conducted to fill 60,244 vacancies. Earlier, the exam was cancelled due to paper leak.

UP Police Constable Re-Exam Date 2024: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has announced the UP Police Constable Re-exam dates. The UP Police Constable written exam will take place from August 23 to 31, 2024, spanning five days: August 23, 24, 25, 30, and 31. The exam will be conducted in two shifts at various centers across the state. The gap between exam dates is due to the Janmashtami festival, as stated in the notice. UP Police Constable admit card 2024 will be released following the release of the exam city slip. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 60,244 vacancies.

The examination was previously cancelled in February due to paper leaks, prompting an investigation that resulted in the arrest of over 400 individuals nationwide. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ordered that the examination be re-conducted within six months. Over 48 lakh candidates, including around 16 lakh women appeared in this recruitment exam conducted on February 17, and 18. The exam was conducted at 2,835 centres across all 75 districts of the state.

Earlier this year, the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (UPSTF) blacklisted Edutest, the company responsible for conducting the recruitment examination for the Uttar Pradesh Police Constable. The UPSTF announced that legal action would be taken against Edutest due to their alleged involvement in the paper leak.
