Southern Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2021: Registration To Fill 3,378 Posts Will End On June 30

This is a golden opportunity for 10th, 12th, and ITI-passed youngsters to get an apprenticeship from the railways. They can apply for recruitment online.

Southern Railway Recruitment 2021: The last date to apply for the 3,378 apprenticeship posts online is almost here. If you are eligible, go to the website and fill out the application form before June 30, 2021. Railways will offer a monthly stipend during training to the selected candidates. Candidates will be appointed in various Railways workshops. 

Recruitment will be done for the following Railways units
This recruitment drive is being conducted for 3,378 Railways apprentice posts. These vacancies are in four railway workshops. This includes 936 posts in Carriage Works, Perambur, 756 posts in GoldenRock Workshop, and 1,686 posts in Signal and Telecom Workshop, Podanur. After the selection of the candidates, appointments will be made in these workshops.

Last Date of Application: According to the notification, the last date for online application is June 30, 2021. Candidates have to complete and submit the application form on or before 30th June, until 5 pm. 

Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for the non-technical position should have a high school and intermediate background. However, candidates with ITI certificates are eligible to apply for technical posts. 

Age Limit: The age requirements vary according to the type of post. For some posts, it is 15-22 years, while for others, it is 15-24 years. Reserve category candidates will get relaxation in age limit as per rules. 

Application Fee: Candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 100. However, the SC, ST, specially-abled, and female candidates are exempted from the payment of any registration fee.
