SBI PO 2024 Notification To Be Released Soon On sbi.co.in; Eligibility & Other Details

SBI PO 2024 Notification will be released on the official website of the State Bank of India at sbi.co.in.

The State Bank of India (SBI) will release the official notification for Probationary Officer (SBI PO 2024) recruitment soon. Once released, candidates can check and download it on the bank's careers portal at sbi.co.in/web/careers. Over the past two years, the SBI PO notification has typically been released in September, with the registration process beginning the day after. In 2023, the notification was published on September 6, and registrations started on September 7, with a total of 2,000 vacancies filled. In 2022, the notification came out on September 21, and the application process began on September 22, filling 1,673 vacancies.

SBI PO 2024 Eligibility

To apply for SBI PO 2024, candidates must have a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university or hold an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. Additionally, applicants must be between 21 and 30 years old, meaning they should have been born between April 2, 1994, and April 1, 2003 (both dates inclusive).

SBI PO 2024 Application Fee

The category-wise application fee structure for SBI PO 2024 is as follows:

  1. SC/ST/PWD: No fee
  2. General and Other Categories: Rs. 750/- (including intimation charges)

SBI PO Selection Process 2024

To secure an SBI PO position for FY 2024-25, candidates must clear the following stages:

Preliminary Exam (Prelims): Based on the merit list from the Prelims, candidates 10 times the number of available positions will be shortlisted for the Mains.

Main Exam (Mains): This includes multiple tests, and candidates up to three times the number of vacancies will be shortlisted for the next phase based on their Mains performance.

Psychometric Test, Group Exercise, and Interview: Phase three includes a psychometric test, a group exercise (20 marks), and an interview (50 marks). Candidates must score the minimum qualifying marks to be eligible for final selection.

Final Selection: Only Mains and Phase Three scores count for the final merit list. Mains marks (out of 250) are converted to 75, and the group exercise and interview (out of 50) are converted to 25. The final merit list is compiled based on these scores, totaling 100.
