RRB NTPC 2025 Exam Dates Announced: Check Key Details On Direct Link

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the exam schedule for the highly anticipated RRB NTPC 2025 Graduate Level recruitment. The Computer-Based Test (CBT 1) for Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) graduate posts is set to be held over 15 days, from June 5-23, 2025.

The announcement, published on May 13, 2025, brings clarity for the 58.4 lakh candidates vying for the 8,113 graduate-level vacancies. Meanwhile, those who applied for undergraduate-level positions — a separate category with 3,445 vacancies — will need to wait a bit longer, as their exam dates are yet to be announced.

All About RRB NTPC 2025 Graduate-Level Exam

The first phase of the RRB NTPC 2025 exam process begins with CBT 1, which will be conducted to shortlist candidates for the second stage, CBT 2. Only those whose applications are accepted will be allowed to sit for CBT 1, and qualifying in this stage is mandatory to move forward in the selection process.

The admit cards for the CBT 1 exam will be made available four days prior to each candidate's scheduled exam date, while city intimation slips, which inform candidates about their exam centre and location, will be issued 10 days in advance, starting from May 27. These documents will be accessible through the RRB's official portal: http://www.rrbcdg.gov.in.

RRB NTPC Exam Vacancy Breakdown

This year, the Railway Recruitment Board is set to fill a total of 11,558 NTPC vacancies across graduate and undergraduate levels. With over 1.21 crore applicants, competition is expected to be fierce.

Graduate-Level Posts — 8,113 vacancies

  • Goods Train Manager: 3,144
  • Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor: 1,736
  • Senior Clerk cum Typist: 732
  • Junior Account Assistant cum Typist: 1,507
  • Station Master: 944

Undergraduate-Level Posts — 3,445 vacancies

  • Junior Clerk cum Typist: 990
  • Accounts Clerk cum Typist: 361
  • Trains Clerk: 72
  • Commercial cum Ticket Clerk: 2,022

RRB NTPC CBT-1 Exam Pattern And Other Essentials

The RRB NTPC CBT 1 exam will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions, totalling 100 marks. The exam will last 90 minutes. However, candidates should tread carefully as there is a penalty of 1/3rd marks for each incorrect answer.

The exact timings for the exam will be confirmed along with the city intimation slips.
