RRB JE Recruitment 2024: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will close the registration window for the recruitment of 7934 posts of Junior Engineer (JE). Those who are yet to apply can fill the application form by 11:59 pm today. Candidates need to fill the application form available on the official website at rrbapply.gov.in. The vacancies include posts for Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent, and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant. The application process was started on July 30, 2024. Candidates are advised to check the official notification carefully before applying for the posts.

RRB JE Eligibility

Applicants must be between 18 and 36 years old and must possess a B.E., B.Tech, or Diploma in a relevant discipline.

RRB JE Recruitment 2024: Steps To Apply

Follow the below steps to apply for RRB JE Recruitment 2024:

Step 1: Visit the RRB website at rrbapply.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on 'Create an account' under the 'Apply' tab.

Step 3: Enter your Name, Phone Number, Address, email ID and other required details.

Step 4: After generating login, Go to 'Already have an account' and submit your phone number and password.

Step 5: Fill out your application form.

Step 6: Upload documents, image and signature.

Step 7: Pay the application fee.

Step 8: Submit the form and download the confirmation page.

RRB JE 2024: Selection Process

The selection process for RRB JE 2024 includes a two-stage computer-based test (CBT), followed by document verification (DV) and a medical examination (ME) for the shortlisted candidates. There will be a 1/3rd negative marking for incorrect answers in the computer-based test.

The RRB JE 2024 exam pattern consists of two Computer-Based Tests (CBT), both of which have a negative marking of 0.3 marks for each incorrect answer. The CBT 1 exam lasts 90 minutes and includes 100 questions, while the CBT 2 exam lasts 120 minutes and includes 150 questions. All questions in both tests will be objective type (Multiple Choice Questions).

Application Fee

The RRB JE 2024 application fee is Rs 250 for SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Transgender, Minorities, or Economically Backward Class (EBC) candidates, and Rs 500 for all other candidates. A portion of the fee, after deducting bank charges, will be refunded after candidates appear for the 1st CBT.
