Odisha CGLRE 2023: Notification For 495 Posts Released, Applications To Begin October 14

The last date to apply for the Odisha CGLRE 2023 is November 17, 2023.

The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has released the notification for Odisha CGLRE (Combined Graduate Level Recruitment exam) 2023 for ‘Group-B and Group-C’ posts. Candidates who wish to participate and apply for the recruitment can check the notification on the official website - ossc.gov.in. The OSSC aims to fill a total of 495 vacancies for ‘Group-B and Group-C’ posts through the Odisha CGLRE 2023. The online application process for the recruitment will begin on October 14, 2023, and interested candidates will be able to apply for the recruitment online on the official OSSC website. 

As per the official notification, candidates will be able to apply for the Odisha CGLRE 2023 till November 14. Following the closure of the application window, registered candidates will also be able to edit their applications till November 17, 2023. Candidates who have completed their bachelor’s degree and have a sound knowledge of computer operations are eligible to apply for the Odisha CGLRE 2023. Moreover, candidates must be aged between 21 to 38 years to apply for the recruitment.

The shortlisting of candidates for the recruitment shall be done following a three-stage process. In the first stage of the recruitment, registered candidates will be required to appear for the Odisha CGLRE Prelims Exam 2023. Those who clear the preliminary exam shall be further called for the main examination examination. In the last phase of the recruitment, shortlisted candidates shall be called for certificate verification. 

While the Odisha CGLRE Prelims Exams 2023 will consist of a single paper of 150 marks, the main examination shall consist of two papers: Paper-1 - Language (Odia and English), and Paper-2 - General Studies. Candidates who apply for the post of ‘Auditor’ will be required to appear for an additional ‘Mathematics’ examination. Those who apply for posts of Auditor, Inspector of Supplies, Junior Assistant (HOD)/Junior Assistant (Field Offices), will also have to appear for a ‘Skill Test.’ 

The Odisha CGLRE Preliminary Exam 2023 is tentatively scheduled to be held in the first quarter of 2024. “The tentative date for the Preliminary examination is likely to be in the first quarter of 2024. The exact Date, Time and Venue will be conveyed in due course through a Notice on the website of OSSC and/ or in the Admission Letter,” reads the official notice.
