BHU Admission 2023: Mop-UP Round For UG, PG Programmes Begin On bhuonline.in - Check Rules

Interested candidates will be able to apply for BHU Mop-Up Round UG, PG Admissions 2023 till tomorrow, October 10, 2023.

The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has started the registration process for the mop-up round admissions for its UG and PG courses for the 2023-24 academic year. Eligible candidates who couldn’t secure a seat in the previous admission rounds can apply for BHU UG and PG Admissions 2023 on the official website - bhuonline.in. Interested candidates will be able to apply for BHU Admissions 2023 till tomorrow, October 10, 2023. The university notified the mop-up round admissions for the 2023-24 academic year through a notice on its official website and also underlined some rules for admissions. 

“Candidates seeking admission in mop-up round shall have to first register themselves on the portal www.bhuonline.in by paying requisite fees,” reads the official notice on the website. Candidates wishing to participate in the BHU Mop-Up Round Admissions 2023 will be required to pay a fee of Rs 1000 while registering. “However, candidates who are registering for the first time on the BHU Counselling portal will have to pay registration fee as per the admission registration rules of the university in addition to Rs.1000,” the notice reads further. Candidates may further note that those who have taken admission or have already locked their seats in the previous counselling rounds will not be allowed to participate in the mop-up round.

BHU UG, PG Mop-Up Admissions 2023: Rules/ Eligibility For Admissions

  • Candidates who register for the BHU Admission Counselling process earlier but were not offered seats in the regular counselling round.
  • Candidates who were offered seats in the earlier counselling rounds but were unable to pay their fees or could not fill their preference entries.
  • Candidates who deposited their fees but their admission was cancelled afterwards.
  • Candidates who did not apply earlier but are interested now and their information/score has been provided to the University by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
  • Candidates who register for the mop-up round admission and fulfill all other admission conditions.
