MPPSC PCS Mains Exam 2022 Dates Revised Due To Elections, Check New Schedule Here

The MPPSC PCS Mains Exam 2022 dates have been rescheduled due to the elections.

The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has rescheduled the dates for the State Services Main Exam 2023, postponing it to December. Originally scheduled from October 30 to November 4, the MPPSC PCS 2023 will now take place from December 26 to December 31. This decision comes in the wake of the state assembly elections announcement, as reported by PTI. The official notice from MPPSC states, "For successful candidates in the State Services Preliminary Exam 2022, the Mains Exam was initially slated for October 30, 2023, to November 4, 2023. However, it will now be held from December 26 to December 31, 2023, at examination centers in Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Chhindwara, Ratlam, Satna, Sagar, Shahdol, and Badwani."

Additionally, the MPPSC informed that the MPPSC PCS Mains admit card for 2023 will be available on December 19 on the official websites, mponline.gov.in and mppsc.mp.gov.in. Candidates will be able to download the admit card by logging through their credentials.

"After considering the availability of examination centres and security arrangements in view of the announcement of the schedule for the state assembly elections by the Election Commission, we have decided to extend the dates of the State Services Main Examination 2022," MPPSC Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Ravindra Panchbhai told PTI.

The official has confirmed that a total of 13,000 successful candidates from the state services preliminary examination will be participating in the upcoming main examination. Panchbhai mentioned that due to the postponement of the main exam, candidates will have more time to prepare for the exam.

Revised Schedule for the MPPSC PCS Mains Exam 2022:

  • December 26, 2023: General Studies - 1, from 10 am to 1 pm
  • December 27, 2023: General Studies - 2, from 10 am to 1 pm
  • December 28, 2023: General Studies - 3, from 10 am to 1 pm
  • December 28, 2023: General Studies - 4, from 10 am to 1 pm
  • December 30, 2023: General Hindi and Grammar, from 10 am to 1 pm
  • December 31, 2023: Hindi Essay and Format Writing, from 10 am to 12 noon
