Gujarat Police Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates interested in applying for the Gujarat Police Bharti 2024, whether for unarmed or armed cadres, must meet specific educational criteria tailored to each position. For the role of Constable, applicants should have completed their senior secondary/ 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized board. Conversely, those aspiring to become Sub Inspectors must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or board.

Moreover, candidates need to adhere to certain age criteria. The lower age limit varies depending on the position applied for. For Constable roles, the minimum age requirement is 18 years, with the upper limit set at 33 years. Similarly, for Sub Inspector positions, applicants must be a minimum of 20 years old and not exceed 33 years in age. Furthermore, there are provisions for age relaxations, with OBC candidates eligible for a three-year relaxation and SC and ST categories eligible for a five-year relaxation.
