The vacancies for Ayush doctors are for the National Health Mission for Primary Health Centre, Community Health Centre, and Additional Primary Health Department Centre. There are 1,411 vacancies for Ayush physicians (Ayurvedic) and 139 for Ayush physicians (Homeopathic). Apart from these, 502 posts of Ayush physicians (Unani) are available. These vacancies together add up to a total of 2,619 posts.

Eligibility To Apply

To be eligible for these posts of Bihar Ayush doctors, candidates must have a BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) degree, BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathy Medicine and Surgery), or BUMS (Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery) degree from a recognised university as required for the post.

Apart from these, there will be an internship training programme, for which certificate and registration with the Bihar State Ayurvedic and Unani Medical Council/Bihar State Homeopathic Medical Council Patna will be provided.
