Bihar Govt Releases Notification To Recruit Over 1.7 Lakh School Teachers, Applications To Begin From June 15

The Bihar govt has notified that the online application process for the Bihar School teachers Recruitment will begin from June 15, 2023.

The government of Bihar, has released a notice today, notifying the recruitment of over 1.70 lakh school teachers in the state. The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) will be conducting the recruitment drive, and the official notification of the recruitment has also been published on the official BPSC website - bpsc.bih.nic.in. As per the official notification, the Bihar Government will be hiring a total of 1,70,461 school teachers at various levels in government schools across the state. 

The recruitment drive will induct teachers for classes 1-5, and from 9-12. As notified, the online application process for the BPSC Teachers Recruitment 2023 will begin from June 15, 2023. The last date to submit the registration cum application forms for the recruitment shall be July 12, 2023. Applications for the recruitment are to be submitted in the online mode only on the official BPSC website. Among the total number of vacancies on offer through the BPSC Teachers Recruitment 2023, 79,943 teachers vacancies are for Classes 1-5, 32,916 for Class 9-10, and 57,602 for Class 11-12.

Although the total number of vacancies has been notified b y the BPSC for now, the final number of vacancies may change based on circumstances and requirements of the commission. Moreover, the conduct of the recruitment examination, and the phases of the selection procedure may be extended based on the number of applicants. 

The minimum age limit to apply for the BPSC Teachers Recruitment 2023 for Primary School Teachers is 18 years, while that for Middle and High School Teachers is 21 years. The maximum age limit permissible to submit applications for the recruitment is 37 years for unreserved candidates. However, age relaxations are in place for reserved categories.
