Assam SET 2024 registration begins today, November 23 on sletneonline.co.in.

The State Level Eligibility Test Commission, Assam has begun the Assam SET 2024 Registration on November 23, 2023. Candidates who want to apply for the State Eligibility Test can do it through the official website of Assam SLET at sletneonline.co.in. According to the official notice, the last date to apply is till January 8, 2024 and the examination fees can be deposited until January 12, 2023. Candidates falling under the General/Unreserved/General-EWS category should have obtained a minimum of 55% marks (without rounding off) in their Master's Degree or its equivalent from universities or institutions recognized by UGC to qualify for this examination. Interestingly, there is no upper age limit for eligibility to apply for this test.

The SLET Commission, Assam has scheduled the examination for March 17, 2024 at various University centers across the North Eastern States. Assam SET will consist of two papers, both comprising solely objective-type questions. The examination will occur in two separate sessions: the first session from 10 am to 11 am and the second session from 11.30 am to 1.30 pm.

Assam SET 2024 Examination: Steps To Register

To register for the Assam SET 2024 examination, candidates should follow these steps:

Step 1: Visit the official Assam SLET website at sletneonline.co.in.

Step 2: Find and click on the Assam SET 2024 link displayed on the homepage.

Step 3: Register by providing the necessary details and submit your information.

Step 4: Log in to your account and complete the application form.

Step 5: Pay the required application fees and submit your form.

Step 6: Download the confirmation page and retain a hard copy for future reference.

Assam SET 2024 Fee

The application fees for different categories are as follows:

  • General category: ₹1200/-
  • OBC and General (EWS) category: ₹1050/-
  • SC/ST category: ₹1000/-
