JEE Main 2019 Admit Card is scheduled to be released today i.e. 17^th December 2018 by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on its official website – jeemain.nic.in. The Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2019 – I (First Attempt) is scheduled to begin on 6^th January 2019 and conclude on 20^th January 2019, for engineering aspirants seeking admissions to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs participating though Central Seat Allocation Board. Candidates who had registered for the same must keep a tab on the official website given above to download their Admit Card and take a printout for the examination day as allocated by the National Testing Agency already to individuals. The JEE Main 2019 Admit Cards will be available from 17^th December 2018 onwards. Candidates who are unable to download their Admit Card must report to NTA Help Line for JEE Main 2019 from 10am to 5pm to get one issued. The JEE Main 2019 will be held in a fully Computer Based Test mode in multiple sessions across the country. Earlier candidates had a choice to appear for JEE Mains either in pen and paper mode or computer based test mode; however, after take over from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the National Testing Agency (NTA) has made the national level engineering entrance exam fully computer based only. To familiarize the candidates with the CBT mode, NTA had set-up a chain of Test Practice Centres (TPCs). Candidates who had secured at least 75% marks (65% for SC/ST) in the Class 12^th, or have stood in the top 20 percentile in the Class 12^th exams conducted by the respective Education Boards were eligible to appear for JEE Main 2019, which is going to be conducted twice a year from 2019 onwards.
