IIT Kharagpur Recruitment 2019: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur is setting up its first ever Medical College and Research Centre for which it has invited applications for the posts of Visiting Consultant / Specialist to fill 36 vacancies. IIT Kharagpur is venturing into medical research into phased manner for which it aims to engage medical professionals for Out-Patient & Diagnostic Services (OPDs) for its first phase roll out for Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy Super-Speciality Hospital & Research Centre. The selected candidates will be required to attend OPD for 2-3 days per week (3 hours session/day and attend Super- speciality OPD 1-2 days per week. Candidates will be recruited for a term of one year initially, further extendable on a yearly basis. Remuneration: The selected candidates will be eligible to receive Rs.7,500 – 11,000/- per clinic session of three (03) hours duration including admissible Conveyance Allowances as per IIT Kharagpur norms.
