IIT GATE 2022: Registration Process Postponed Till September 2, Check Details Here

IIT GATE 2022: After the registration begins, interested and eligible students will be able to apply for the GATE 2022 exam online at gate.iitkgp.ac.in on or before September 24, 2021.

IIT GATE 2022: The online registration process for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022 has been postponed till September 2, 2021. Earlier, the GATE 2022 application process was scheduled to begin on August 30, 2021. The GATE 2022 examination is conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur. After the registration begins, interested and eligible students will be able to apply for the GATE 2022 exam by visiting the official website at gate.iitkgp.ac.in on or before September 24, 2021.

The GATE 2022 examination is scheduled to be held on February 5, 6, 12, and 13, 2022. The total duration of the GATE 2022 examination will be of 180 minutes and the GATE 2022 exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. A total of 195 centers have been allotted to conduct the GATE exam. GATE is an acronym for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. It is a national level engineering entrance exam and many students appear in this entrance exam for M.Tech admissions or PSU recruitments.

The test papers under GATE 2022 examination will be purely objective type, which means that some multiple-choice questions (MCQs) will be there, while the rest of the questions will consist of multiple select questions (MCQs) and/or numerical answer types (NAT) questions.

It is important for the GATE 2022 aspirants to know that one or two subjects are allowed to appear for the paper. Students can choose a combination of two papers from the list of combinations of papers. However, if a student wants to appear for one or two papers then he/she will have to fill only one application form. If a student submits more than one application form, only one application will be accepted and the rest will be rejected and the registration fee will not be refunded.
