IIT Bombay Extends CEED 2024 Registration Without Late Fee Till November 13

The IIT Bombay is slated to conduct the CEED 2024 Exam on January 21, 2024.

The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) has extended the registration deadline for the CEED 2024 Exam. Candidates who wish to appear for the Exam in order to secure a seat in one of the postgraduate design programmes offered by the IITs, can submit their CEED 2024 applications till November 13, 2023, without late fee. Those who miss out on submitting their CEED 2024 applications within the said timeline would still be able to apply till October 20, with a late fee of Rs 500. 

Interested candidates may note that the CEED 2024 Application Fee is Rs 3,800. However, SC, ST, and PwD category candidates will be required to pay an application fee of Rs 1,900. As per the previous schedule though, the last date to apply for the CEED 2024 Exam without late fee was October 31, 2023, and the last date to apply with late fee was November 8, 2023. However, the IIT Bombay subsequently revised the CEED 2024 application timeline. 

To apply for the CEED 2024 Exam, candidates should have a degree/diploma/post graduate degree programme of minimum 3 years (after 10+2 level), or must be appearing for the final examination of such a program by July 2024, or must have passed the GD Arts diploma programme (10+5 level) by July 2024. There is no age limit to apply for the CEED exam. 

Besides ensuring the eligibility criteria for the CEED 2024 Exam, candidates are advised to check the detailed eligibility criteria of the specific institute they wish to seek admission in. This is because of the fact that all the participating institutions in the CEED 2024 might not have a uniform eligibility criteria.

  • Visit the official website - ceed.iitb.ac.in
  • On the homepage, click on the CEED 2024 Registration Portal
  • Register online using your basic details
  • Fill in the application form online 
  • Upload relevant documents and pay the application fee
  • Submit the application form
  • Download the application confirmation page for future reference
