IIM Bangalore Ranks 41st Globally, IIM Kozhikode Climbs To 68th In FT MiM Rankings 2024
IIM Bangalore ranked 41st globally and IIM Kozhikode 68th in the FT MiM 2024 rankings, with both schools showcasing strong performances across key metrics and academic programmes.
The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) and the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) have both distinguished themselves in the Financial Times (FT) Masters in Management (MiM) Ranking 2024. IIM Bangalore secured the 41st position globally and 3rd in India, while IIM Kozhikode climbed nine spots to achieve its best-ever global rank of 68th. IIMB excelled in key metrics such as International Course Experience, Weighted Salary, Salary Percentage Increase, Value for Money, Career Services, Female Student Representation, and International Work Mobility, while IIMK continued its upward trajectory in global rankings.
The FT MiM ranking evaluates institutions based on 19 key criteria, with alumni feedback accounting for 56% of the weight. This emphasis on alumni outcomes ensures the ranking reflects the real-world impact of the education provided. The remaining 44% is derived from school data, considering factors such as return on investment, career progression, ESG performance, carbon footprint, and diversity.
IIMB’s adaptability and focus on international partnerships have maintained its reputation for excellence in business education. IIM Kozhikode, meanwhile, has shown consistent improvement, ranking 9th among Asian B-schools for its Post Graduate programmeme (MBA). Additionally, IIMK improved its position in the 2024 Financial Times Executive Education (Open Enrollment) Ranking, rising two spots to 70th globally after debuting at 72nd in 2023.
