IGNOU Extends Admission, Re-Registration Dates Till 31 July

IGNOU has extended the last date for online submission of admission and re-registration forms for the July 2021 session till July 31. Students can register online for UG, PG and certificate courses.

New Delhi: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date for online submission of admission and re-registration forms till July 31. Students now have more time to register online for admission to various programs including Postgraduate, Undergraduate, PG Diploma and Diploma, PG Certificate and Appreciation/Awareness level courses.

Those candidates who are already enrolled in IGNOU courses can re-register for next year or semester and pay online with username and password. An official statement issued by IGNOU said, "The last date for re-registration for July 2021 session has been extended to 31 July 2021. Students can log in and re-register through the Samarth Portal ignou.samarth.edu.in"

How to re-register for IGNOU July session 2021:

Step1: Visit the official website of IGNOU at ignou.samarth.edu.in or ignou.ac.in.

Step2: Select the programs or course using the details including enrollment number, and enter the registered date of birth after logging into the admission portal.

Step3: The portal will display your details and pre-filled admission forms based on the previous semester.

Check all the details and submit.

Step4: Candidates will proceed to complete the online payment gateway process.

Step5: Use Internet Banking System or Credit and Debit Card to make the required payment.

Step6: A receipt or form will be generated online for confirmation of admission to the programs.  Take a printout of it or download it in PDF format for future reference.
