DU PG Admission 2020: Admission Process Begins; Here Are All The Details You Need To Know
The Delhi University Post Graduate Admission has begun. Candidates have to sign in to the official website- du.ac.in to begin the process.
New Delhi: Delhi University Post Graduate Admission begins today November 18th, 2020, interested candidates can choose to apply from 54 courses. The admission to some of the courses is either based only on the entrance exam or an exam and merit.
Candidates have to sign in to the official website- du.ac.in to begin their process. Candidates should go through the eligibility criteria before signing in. Candidates whose final year results have been declared by the University must update their marks on their dashboard. Candidates whose final year result of the qualifying examination has not been declared yet should wait to update their marks.

Here are details to keep in mind while you are applying for admission
• The application fee is Rs. 300 per course for SC, ST, PwBD, and EWS categories for and Rs. 750 per course for UR, OBC, and other categories.
• Candidates must create can use their existing login credentials to begin the process or if they are new, they must create login details in order to begin their admission process.
• A candidate must have the following:
o His/Her Passport size photograph, max size 50KB and dimensions 100px (min. width) X 130px (min. height)
o His/Her Scanned Signature, max size 50KB and dimensions 140px (min. width) X 60px (min. height)
o A valid ID Proof (Self Attested). This can be any one of the following documents: Aadhaar Card / Voter’s Identity Card / PAN Card / Passport / Driving License
o Class 10th Certificate (Self Attested) as Date of Birth proof, max size 100KB.
o Caste Certificate (Self Attested), max size 100KB.
What is the tiebreaker formula
In case of Tie in the Entrance Test marks, tie-breakers in the following order of preference will be applied:
• Candidates with a higher percentage in the Qualifying Examination as mentioned in the eligibility criteria will be given preference.
• Candidates with a higher percentage in the final year of bachelor's degree will be given preference, then the preceding year and so on.
• Candidates having higher aggregate marks (five subjects including one language) in class XII Board examination will be given preference.
In case the result of the qualifying examination has not been declared for applicants on time, admission to that seat will be kept on hold.
