CUET UG is an important exam for students of Class XII as this opens up the doors to many new possibilities for the future. Getting into a great college is a moment of happiness for students and parents alike as that is the result of years of hard work and patience. However, for some students, CUET UG can turn into a bad experience. The reason? Simple errors while filling the form for CUET UG can potentially have a huge negative impact on a student. So, students must pay attention to the details of the CUET UG form. To help students do that, we have compiled a list of small errors that should be avoided while filling CUET UG form:

Mistakes To Avoid While Filling CUET UG 2024 Application Form

Details Should Match: Your name and other details should be as per your class X certificate or other official documents to avoid any confusion and chances of rejection.

Fill Correct Email Address: You should double-check the email address you are providing as this will be used for sending the OTP from NTA. Please make sure that you have an active email address that you own to submit.

Select Near Cities: NTA asks for multiple cities when filling out the form, and you should be careful in choosing them. This is because while NTA tries to give first preference to all applicants, there are chances that you might be given a city that is lower on your list. If you choose randomly, you might end up traveling to a far-off place for the exam. So, be aware of your city choices and choose the cities that are closest to you.

Password Should Be Secure: You should create a password that is secure (i.e. known to you only) and also easy to remember for you.

ID Card Details Should Match: You should fill the id card (Aadhar etc) details carefully and make sure they match the document.

Upload Latest Category Certificate: For candidates applying under different categories, please make sure that you are uploading the category certificate as per the latest format issued by the Government of India

Use Right Photograph And Signature: As per NTA you should upload a clear and recent photograph with 80% face visible (no masks) in JPEG/JPG format with a size of 10-200kb. For signatures, they should be legible and should be uploaded in JPEG/JPG format with a size of 4-10kb. Please make sure that your photo and signatures are visible clearly otherwise your form could be rejected with no possibility of correction given.

Select Subjects As Per Your Degree: Selecting the subjects for which you want to give CUET UG is a critical step. The selection of subjects determines for which degrees/universities you would be eligible. Therefore, it is important to check the requirements of universities before applying.
