CAT 2018 registration date extended to September 26 @iimcat.ac.in; Check exam pattern, eligibility

CAT 2018 Notification: The applicants who want to apply online for CAT 2018 can do so through the official website, iimcat.ac.in.

CAT 2018 Notification: Common Admission Test (CAT) online registration process has been extended. The deadline which was earlier set to be closed on September 19, however, according to the new deadline, candidates can apply for the same till September 26 by 5 pm. The applicants who want to apply online for CAT 2018 can do so through the official website, iimcat.ac.in. This year, Indian Institute of Management-Calcutta (IIM-C) will conduct the examinations. The test is scheduled to be held on November 25 (Sunday) in 147 cities across the country. The examination will take place in two sessions. The admit card will be released on October 24 which the students will be able to download it through the official website. According to the official website, the candidates with improper/blur photographs can log in and re-upload their photograph from Sep 27, 2018 to Sep 30, 2018. This is valid only for those candidates who have paid applicable Registration Fee and have registered successfully for CAT 2018 before the specified deadline. IIM CAT 2018: Important Dates

• CAT 2018 online application deadline: September 26, 2018, till 5 pm • Admit card download begins: October 24, 2018, from 1 pm onwards • CAT 2018 exam date: November 25, 2018

CAT 2018: Exam pattern

• The examination will be of 180 minutes • Candidates will be allotted 60 minutes for answering questions in each section • The questions will be in three sections — 1) Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension 2) Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning 3) Quantitative Ability

CAT 2018: Eligibility

• The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA • Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply. • Candidates applying for CAT 2018 should fulfill any one of the following conditions: > Completed Bachelor’s degree with the required percentage of marks > Completed professional degree (CA/CS/ICWA) with required percentage > Should be in the final year of Bachelor’s degree with required percentage

If already registered, then login with your credentials Step 3) Enter the required details Step 4) Click on Submit Step 5) Pay the applicable Registration Fee Step 6) Take a print out for the future purpose All the best!
