Important Dates: Submission of application ends – 15th December 2018, 5 pm Vacancy Details: Veterinary Assistant Surgeon (Class A) - 247 Posts First Zone - 35 Posts Second Zone - 89 Posts Third Zone - 51 Posts Fourth Zone - 72 Posts Veterinary Assistant Surgeon (Class B) - 9 Posts First Zone -1 Post Second Zone - 03 Posts Third Zone - 3 Posts Fourth Zone- 2 Posts Eligibility Criteria: Academic Qualifications: Veterinary Assistant Surgeon (Class-A) – The applicant must be holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (OR) its Equivalent Qualification from any recognized University/Institution in India or Abroad. Veterinary Assistant Surgeon (Class-B) – The applicant must have completed Post-graduation in Preventive Medicine subject in Microbiology / Parasitological / Pathology/ Epidemiology / Virology / Immunology / Bio-Technology and Veterinary Public Health Institution. Age-Limit: The applicant must fall in the age bracket of 18 to 42 years as on 1 st July 2018. Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of a written test and an interview. Pay Scale: The selected applicant will receive a salary with a pay scale of Rs.35,120 to Rs.87,130 with usual allowances as stated in the official advertisement given below.
