Farmers' Protest: Curbs At Delhi Borders, Traffic Advisory Issued — Check Details
Delhi Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory before the farmers' march on Tuesday and imposed curbs at the borders.
Ahead of the farmers’ march on February 13, the Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory alerting commuters about restrictions on movement of vehicles at three borders of the national capital. Several farmers associations, mostly from Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab have called for the march on February 13. Their demand is for a law guaranteeing Minimum Support Price (MSP) for their produce.

In view of the proposed farmers' protest at various borders of Delhi from 13.02.2024, traffic will be affected.
For commercial vehicles, traffic restrictions/diversions will be imposed from 12.02.2024.

Restrictions/Diversions On Commercial Vehicles
Traffic restrictions/diversions will be imposed at Singhu Border from Monday for commercial vehicles and from Tuesday for all type of vehicles, the advisory read.
Interstate buses bound for destinations like Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal, etc., via NH-44 are advised to take the following route: from ISBT to Majnu Ka Tilla to Signature Bridge to Khajuri Chowk to Loni Border and then proceed to KMP via Khekra.
For Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) heading towards Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal, etc., via NH-44, it is recommended to take exit no. 2 on NH-44 (DSIIDC) Cut to reach Auchandi Border to KMP via Saidpur Chowki.
Cars and light goods vehicles intending to go towards Sonipat, Panipat Karnal etc. via NH-44 are suggested to take an exit from exit 1 (NH-44) Alipur to reach Jatti Kalan road to Singhu Stadium to PS Kundali reaching NH-44 towards Sonipat in Haryana.
Cars and light goods vehicles heading towards Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal, etc., via NH-44, are advised to take the following routes:
Exit from exit 1 (NH-44) Alipur cut to Shani Mandir to go to Singhu Stadium and PS Kundali, reaching NH-44 towards Sonipat in Haryana.
Alternatively, they can exit from exit number 2 NH-44 DSIIDC intersection to Harish Chander Hospital Red Light and Ramdev Chowk head to Piau Maniyari Border (entering Haryana) towards NH-44.
Traffic Diversions
- For vehicles bound for Bahadurgarh, Rohtak, etc.:
Exit from exit number 2 DSIIDC cut towards Bawana Road to Kanjhawala T-Point and Kanjhawala Chowk via Dr Sahib Singh Verma Road. Proceed to Jhanda Chowk/Ghevra and take a right to Nizampur Border via Savdha Village, reaching Bahadurgarh Connecting NH-9.
Alternatively, take Outer Ring Road from Mukarba Chowk to Madhuban Chowk, Bhagwan Mahavir Road to Rithala, Pansali Chowk, Helipad, UER-ll to Kanjhawala Road-Karala T-Point, Kanjhawala Chowk to Jaunti Village, and Jaunti Border/Nizampur Border, entering Haryana Village Bamnoli. Continue via Nahra-Nahari road to Bahadurgarh road.
- For traffic from Delhi to Ghaziabad through Gazipur border:
Consider Pushta Road in front of Akshardham temple OR Patparganj Road/Mother Dairy Road OR Chaudhary Charan Singh Marg ISBT Anand Vihar, exiting from Maharajpur or Apsara border in UP Ghaziabad.
- For heavy/commercial vehicles bound for Bahadurgarh, Rohtak, etc., via Rohtak Road:
Use Najafgarh Nangloi Road from Nangloi Chowk to enter Haryana via Najafgarh Jharoda Border.
Take a left turn from the PVC red light to Jharoda Nala Crossing, then right onto Najafgarh Bahadurgarh Road towards Bahadurgarh.
Motorists from Punjabi Bagh can turn left at Peeragarhi Chowk onto Najafgarh Road and continue for about 8 KM. Then, turn right at Uttam Nagar Chowk and proceed via Dwarka Mor-Tura Mandi-Najafgarh Firni Road. Afterwards, turn left at Chhawla Stand, followed by a right at Dhansa Stand and Bahadurgarh Stand. Finally, make a left at Najafgarh Bahadurgarh Road-Jharoda Village-Jharoda Border to reach Bahadurgarh (HR).
