Delhi MCD Polls 2022: Badarpur Constituency Wards After Delimitation — Check Details

Delhi MCD Election 2022: Civic polls are scheduled in Delhi on December 4 to elect 250 councillors of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Votes will be counted and results will be declared on December 7.

MCD Election 2022 Live: Delhi State Election Commissioner (SEC) Vijay Dev on November 4 announced dates for the long-due Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls. Delhi State Election Commission announced that voting for unified three municipal corporations - East Delhi Municipal Corporation, South Delhi Municipal Corporation and North Delhi Municipal Corporation - into one MCD will be held on December 4. Counting of the votes will be held on December 7 and the results will be announced the same day.

In the Badarpur Delhi assembly constituency, there are a total of five wards to go under poll in the 2022 MCD election. The names of the five wards of the Badarpur assembly constituency are Badarpur, Molarband, Meethapur, Hari Nagar Extension, Jaitpur.

1. Badarpur: In the Badarpur Delhi assembly constituency, Badarpur is ward number one hundred-eighty in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 70,836. The Badarpur (Ward 180) MCD seat is reserved for schedule caste women.

2. Molarband: In the Badarpur Delhi assembly constituency, Molarband is ward number one hundred eighty-one in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 66,525. The Molarband (Ward 181) MCD seat is unreserved.

3. Meethapur: In the Badarpur Delhi assembly constituency, Meethapur is ward number one hundred eighty-two in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 69,837. The Meethapur (Ward 182) MCD seat is reserved for women.

4. Hari Nagar Extension: In the Badarpur Delhi assembly constituency, Hari Nagar Extension is ward number one hundred eighty-three in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 66,979. The Hari Nagar Extension (Ward 183) MCD seat is unreserved.
