A massive fire erupted on Thursday on one of the top floors of the Gopaldas building on Delhi's Barakhamba Road in Connaught Place, as confirmed by a fire department official. Firefighting operations are underway.

Atul Garg, the Director of Delhi Fire Services (DFS), reported that the distress call regarding the blaze was received at 12.56 p.m.

Garg further stated, "A total of 15 fire tenders have been promptly dispatched to the site. The fire broke out specifically on the 11th floor."
