'Join BJP Or Face ED Heat': Atishi Claims Raghav Chadha Among 4 More AAP Leaders Threatened With Prison

Addressing a press conference, Atishi said that the BJP has threatened ED action against four more leaders of the AAP.

Delhi minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Atishi on Tuesday made big allegations against the Bharatiya Janata Party saying that the saffron party told her to join the party or face the heat of the Enforcement Directorate.

"BJP through one of my close aides approached me to join their party to save my political career and If I do not join the BJP then in the coming one month I will be arrested by ED...," she said.

Addressing a press conference, the AAP leader claimed that after arresting the top four leaders of the party, the enforcement agency will arrest other top four leaders within two months including her, Saurabh Bharadwaj, Durgesh Pathak, and Raghav Chadha.

"In the coming two months before the Lok Sabha elections, they will arrest 4 more AAP leaders - Saurabh Bharadwaj, Atishi, Durgesh Pathak and Raghav Chadha...," said the Delhi minister.

"The ED will raid my residence, not just mine but that of my family and relatives also," she said adding, that summons will be sent and "shortly after we'll be arrested."

On ED Naming Atishi And Saurabh Bharadwaj In Court

On Monday, while producing Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal who was arrested by the ED in the money laundering case linked to the excise policy case — before a court, the central agency claimed that the AAP chief said that one of the accused in the case, Vijay Nair used to report to Atishi and Bharadwaj and not him.

Responding to the development, Atishi said, "Yesterday the ED took Saurabh Bharadwaj and my name in the court, on the basis of a statement which is available with ED and CBI for one and a half years, this statement is in the charge sheet of ED."

She said that the statement was raised because the BJP feels that despite Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh, and Satyendra Jain being in jail, "the Aam Aadmi Party is still united and strong."

"Now they are planning to put the next line of leadership of the Aam Aadmi Party in jail...," she added.
