7 Held For Lynching BSF Soldier In Gujarat For Protesting Against Daughter's Obscene Video
The BSF soldier was beaten to death, and his son injured, after they protested to an obscene video of his daughter filmed by the accused which went viral on the social media.
New Delhi: Seven people were arrested in Guajrat's Nadiad district after they lynched to death a soldier of the Border Security Force, reported news agency ANI. The soldier was beaten to death, and his son injured, after they protested to an obscene video of his daughter filmed by the accused which went viral on the social media. According to the Nadiad Deputy Superintendent of Police, Meljibhai Vaghela and his son along with some relatives went to one of the accused Shailesh Jadav's house.
Upon reaching the accused's residence, a fight broke out between the two parties and the accused's father, uncle and other family members attacked Vaghela who died on the spot.

"Seven accused arrested after they killed a BSF soldier Meljibhai Vaghela as he went to their home after one of the accused Shailesh Jadav made a video of victim's daughter viral in Chaklasi village in Nadiad on December 24," DSP VR Bajpai told the news agency.
"As victim Meljibhai Vaghela along with his son and relatives reached victim Shailesh's home a fight broke out between them and accused's father Dinesh Jadav, uncle Arvind Jadav and other family members attacked him where he died on the spot. Victim's son was injured, rushed to hospital," Bajpai added.

Victim's son has also been seriously injured in the scuffle and has been referred to a government hospital in Ahmedabad, reported ABP News.
Vaghela had been in the armed force for the last 28 years and and the BSF gave guard of honour to the deceased soldier on Sunday.
