Mariano Caucino, the Ambassador of Argentina to India expressed her happiness in participating in the ceremony. " I am also very pleased to be following the traditions here," the Ambassador said.

Earlier on Saturday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that so far 32 crore devotees from across the globe have visited Maha Kumbh Mela. The security was beefed up in the Mela area for the visit of diplomats, but ease of access for common pilgrims was not compromised, the statement said.
The opposition parties have been criticising the Yogi Adityanath government for allegedly prioritising the VIP movement at the Maha Kumbh. They claimed that the stampede during the Maha Kumbh on Mauni Amavasya occurred in part due to the government's focus on VIPs.
According to official figures, at least 30 people died while 60 were injured in the stampede.
